Stem Cells
All Allied distributed stem cell products are sourced from non-controversial, donated umbilical cords and the byproducts of the birthing process from healthy full term deliveries.
Certified Laboratory
Infectious disease testing is performed at a certified laboratory in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and 42 CFR Part 493.
Testing
Each lot of Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cells is tested for sterility, cell count and viability. Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cells are stored with cryoprotectant.
Pre-Screening
All donors are pre-screened and undergo comprehensive testing that includes:
- Behavioral Risk Assessment
- Physical Assessment
- Donor Medical History
- Communicable Diseases
Shipping & Storage
- Product Shipping: -65°C or below
- Product Storage: -80°C or below
- All shipments will be sent overnight via FedEx unless otherwise specified.

* CMV is a common virus infecting people of all ages. Donors do not have active infection during harvest. CBCS suspension is not recommended for use in immune-compromised patients.
